The Paddocks Self Catering Cottages are set in tranquil countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty in North Norfolk. Access to the Cottages is gained by leaving the A148 approx 4 - miles north of Fakenham and following the signs for Barney and the Caravan Park.
When arriving all guests and visitors are requested initially to park opposite the Reception Building within the Caravan Park on the main car park, allowing room for others who may be arriving at the same time. The car park has a shingle surface and care must be taken when driving off.
Having arrived all guests and visitors should report to the reception to receive their Welcome Information Pack, and to be given directions to the location of their cottage. They will also be told of the various facilities which are available to them. The reception shop is easily accessible from the main car park, the entrance doorway is suitable for a wheelchair.
There are three cottages which are situated some one hundred yards back along the lane, with their own car park which is easily accessible from the lane and signposted as such.

The Paddocks consist of three self-catering Cottages:

The Stiffkey Barn, The Wensum Barn, The Stable Barn

The Stiffkey Barn is situated opposite the heated pool and will sleep up to six people. The Wensum Barn is in the centre of the complex and will sleep four people. The Stable Barn is the opposite end to Stiffkey Barn and will sleep up to six people.
Entrance doors to all cottages have a small step which can be made wheelchair friendly by means of a small ramp if required.
There is an indoor heated swimming pool opposite Stiffkey Barn which has easy access via 'Roman Steps' and a safety hand rail. This provides a shallow area for small children. It is also equipped with a small changing room with a shower and and toilet.

The Park restaurant has fitted ramps and wide doors for wheelchair access, the toilets are accessible through the restaurant area. Care must be taken however as there is a small step. All W/Cs in the park are 43cm high, this includes the Special Needs/Disabled Room, we believe these are a standard height. The Special Needs/Disabled Room has grab rails. A Bottle Bank is situated in the main car park.

In the event of a FIRE or similar Emergency the procedures are on display in each cottage. The nearest telephone is to the right of the Reception door.

Adjacent to the Cottages is the Childrens Playgound. Please note that all children need to be supervised at all times. There is a shared garden to the rear with a barbecue for each cottage.

Telephone numbers for local doctor, vet, taxi service and 24 hour Emergency are on display in the Tourist Information Centre.

Should there be any queries regarding any of the facilities whilst you are staying at The Paddocks Cottages, please feel free to contact Reception who will endeavour to answer your questions.

Although we have tried to be as accurate as possible and include as much detail as possible in this statement, we are always willing to pass on information to our guests on any aspect of the accommodation in an effort to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
